The ASB Student Government functions on two levels: Student Cabinet directs the overall student activities of the school and the expenditure of student body funds, and each grade level elects class leaders to direct activities for their grade level.

Students wishing to participate in school leadership must seek offices through the elective process. A candidate must have a “C” average (2.0 G.P.A.) and no failing marks on their last report card. Citizenship must be satisfactory (no more than one “N” and no “U’s”), and the grades must be maintained throughout their term of office.
